REVIEW: -

Ladies, gentleman, boys and girls I now proudly present to you a pure masterpiece of the gaming of the gaming world.

Well firstly since G-String does not have a N64 I guess that I have to do the dirty work…Aw what a shame. (He jumped at the chance to do N64 reviews!! - G-String)

Well that’s enough blabbing on, let’s get straight to the point.

Zelda is absolutely huuuggeee and is packed full of well over 60 hours of gaming before you get any where near finishing it. The main plot of the game is that you are a sort of elf and you have been chosen to stand up to the forces of evil. Spooky eh? The big evil guy is Ganondof, who is an evil thief from the badlands, which is a desert where all of the thieves hang out. He is after the Triforce, the symbol of life as awhole in Hyrule, the land where this adventure takes place. With the Triforce at his disposal he would have power over the whole of Hyrule.

Very moving isn’t it?

The whole game is centred around travelling back and forward in time from young link to adult link. In order to achieve this you need to travel and pick out small objectives with a small brush making sure that you don’t miss out on any small details. You will need tohave a lot of time on your hands if even to do this quickly. Areas of the world range from your home village of Kokiri Forest to a big ranch keeping mainly horses and cattle and chickens. You even get to ride a horse of your very own, which you can win later on in thegame. There are 2 huge villages to roam through again completing small objectives even involving chickens. As young Link you have to beat 3 hard bosses but it won’t get any easier the enemies get rock solid but don’t let that put you of it isgreat fun. The main levels are Goron City where you have to fight the Infernal Dinosaur King Dogongo and inside Jaba Jabu’Belly where you have to fight are you ready the Bio Electric Anemone Bionade which is basically abig jellyfish.

There are lots more bosses to slaughter but we don’t want to ruin all the suprises for you now do we. To round it all up.Zelda is huge and you will not be finishing this in a hurry. Every thing about it is produce at maximum lengths even the orchestral music finishes off the tale nicely.

Visually, Wonderful really stretches the N64’s true potential. Best visuals I have ever seen.

The sounds were great. I wasn’t sure about the orchestral music at the start as the story unfolded it seemed appropriate.

The lifespan of the game is huge! Well over 60 hours of gameplay non-stop! But it is worth it, every step of the way
